our very close friends melissa + craig {finally! after over a decade together} got married on saturday! the beautiful couple chose princeton as their setting and it was perfect! melissa wore a lace dress, carried sunflowers and made all the jewelry for the bridal party. craig wore a grey suit, a beer cap and barley boutonniere and old school vans. melissa was escorted to the ceremony in a vintage blue nova and the guests were taken by school bus - love that! an intimate ceremony with a tear jerker of a phish song {craig's favorite band} carrying melissa up the aisle and a hand fastening made for some very special moments! afterwards we explored the grounds of princeton university {tried to look ivy league} and had a great time taking portraits! {i even took a dip in a fountain!} the reception was super unique and took place at triumph brewery, where guests were treated to samplings of micro brews at the door. tables were named after types of beer and labeled with hand carved wooden words made by craig! beer bottles and hops took the place of traditional centerpieces and beer koozies served as favors! a very relaxed and industrial feel with multiple levels made for a truly unique space. melissa surprised craig with a photo booth and there were even guinness flavored cupcakes! lots of dancing, lots of laughter and lots of love.. these 2 were made for one another, i'm honored to have been asked to be a part of this long awaited day and couldn't be more excited for 2 awesome people! love you both! xo
