megan + john 10.9.09

you might remember megan and john.. they got the prize for making one another laugh at their recent engagement shoot! {they laughed the whole time} i knew their wedding would not be without plenty of smiles! the ceremony and reception took place at the eagle ridge country club in lakewood on a perfect fall day! a beautiful backdrop and lots of laughs made for some great portraits. rich autumn colors were the theme for the wedding, lots of browns, oranges and yellows, it just screamed elegant fall wedding. tables were named after apples and centerpieces were made up of chinese lantern plants, mini pumpkins and of course apples... this the fireplace and the beautiful light pouring thru the windows made for such a warm and and comfortable setting! some great jewish traditions, heartfelt touches like calla lilies placed on the couples' table in remembrance of megan's mom and john's dad, apple cider and donuts for a take home treat and some teary eyes during the ceremony all made this day completely memorable and very special to shoot. m + j have been a joy to work with from the start and i wish them so much love on their journey together! congrats guys!
