the adorable joanna + paul came from far away lands to get married {again} in the great state of new jersey! the couple lives in scotland and this is their second wedding where they were able to have family and friends share in the joy of their marriage! it was a perfect day at fernbrook farms and this wedding was filled with great details.. joanna wore a beaded capelet and her girls wore different shades of green from mint to evergreen. the ceremony took place in a field under a tree with colorful ribbon streamers and after the nuptials guests were invited into an adjacent field for cocktails and lawn games. tables were set with spring colored flowers in pewter and gold containers and the silver sat on leaves. streamers continued in the reception tent {that must have taken forever to make!} shutters held place cards & vintage books stacked on tables added a beautiful touch. the couple has some amazing taste in music - some faves i heard were radiohead, florence & the machine and the civil wars! to end the night s'mores were served on an open hearth, pies were sliced and a traditional scottish treat was given out as favors {the american version of the mallomar, yum} such a beautiful wedding for a very down to earth and sweet couple! congrats j + p!
