nothing could keep the sun from shining on this amazing couple's big day! it started out gloomy and turned into an absolute perfect day. i think sunny may have something do with that! {how can it rain on a girl named sunny's wedding day?!} sunny & shane were such a blast and so cute! they've been together for 11 years and their love shined through the moment i met them. sunny's girls wore a bright shade of purple and orchids in their hair. shane's guys wore grey suits and slip on vans. we had tons of fun shooting in asbury park and even got to take a pic with an eye patched ukulele player! the ceremony was held on the beach outside windows on the water, where guests were invited to slip off their shoes and throw on flipflops! the laid back feel continued with lots of diy details done by the bride, including sand dollar place cards and garlands made of shells. tables held glass globes filled with shells and flowers and table numbers were books for friends & family to fill with marriage advice. the couple danced to just breathe by pearl jam and later in the night sunny danced with her dad to the bobby hebb classic sunny! 2 of my favorite songs in one night! a candy bar and wish lanterns completed the night - and just a little bit of break dancing! so honored to be part of this big day! congrats and lots of love guys! xo
