the adorable lauren + chris were married on a perfect saturday at sunset in cape may! the couple got ready at a local victorian style b&b in town where lauren dressed in a dramatic floral embellished dress and birdcage veil! her girls wore shades of pink and coral, in different styles! lauren a big pinterest fan brought lots of props including some very large pink balloons {tricky on a windy day - but we made it work!} also an ampersand {or & symbol as some call it!} and scrabble letters! one of my favorite details {besides the balloons} was lauren's bouquet made entirely of vintage brooches and jewels and topped off with her grandparents rings - super special and something she will have forever! the casual ceremony took place at sunset in front of a small group of family & friends with dolphins jumping and spinning in the ocean behind them! {that has to be good luck!} to celebrate pink paper lanterns were lit, but the wind won this time! the reception followed at union park dining room where special touches like needlepoint framed art sat on the mantle and salt water taffy wrapped in mini boxes with starfish held each place setting! heart shaped sparklers sent the couple off to an awesome beginning as a husband and wife duo! such a sweet and happy event to be part of.. i wish you both nothing but lots of love and luck! xo
