teddy + patrick 6.16.12

the super awesome teddy and patrick were married on saturday afternoon in tenafly! my first introduction to teddy and her gals was with their love for the golden girls - totes with the famous group pictured and blanche esque pink blouses inside for each bridesmaid {a gift from the bride} along with the show running on tv and i knew i would love this group! teddy wore a whimsical dress with flowy layers and sparkley flats and her girls wore {the most marvelous shade of green dresses} in different styles.. the guys matched in grey suits and green ties! the couple was married in a traditional greek church with crowns and wine and candles! we shot portraits at pallisade interstate park surrounded by great buildings {including one straight out of a fairy tale} and picnic tables {which patrick took little convincing to stand on} the happy journey continued at the montclair art museum where guests were treated to drinks & great art! friends & family were invited to stroll thru the galleries during cocktail hour and ended up in the reception room lit with string lights and a glass ceiling. tables were woodland themed with squirrels, blue jays and racoons's smiling faces announcing table numbers and burlap covered tables held mason jars filled with flowers and candles! for food think.. classy picnic style with pulled pork, coleslaw, ravioli and crabcakes... yum! some greek dancing and lots of great toasts followed by a {sure to never forget} father daughter dance to signing in the rain {it included an umbrella and fedora} and loved the couple's first dance to poison cup. {by m. ward}a photobooth featuring woodland animal masks for guests to pose in and an art studio across the hall - the perfect spot for a few impromptu photos rounded out the amazing evening! so much fun and so happy to be included in this couple's love! congrats t + p!
