diana + brandon 5.21.11

so the world is still here and b + d's wedding went on! i made the trek up to rhinecliff, new york for diana and brandon's wedding and wow.. was it worth it! diana wore a fabulous gown with ruffles and sequin.. so unique and her gals wore bright pink mini dresess. the couple were married on the lawn of the historic rhinecliff hotel nestled in the hills alongside the hudson river and the amtrak line! the stormy weather held out for the photos, but greeted us at the very beginning of the ceremony and lasted it's entirety! guests were gracious and grabbed anything they could for cover and the couple did not seem to mind at all.. brandon could not take his eyes off diana! and while i cursed the rain as it poured down at the time, i have to thank it now for it's dreamy photos.. truly capturing the moment! the sun burst out, literally over the river pretty much right after {of course!} the reception was held on the deck of the hotel and featured handmade paper pom poms, lanterns filled with flowers and pink and white cookies for favors! mini clay cows held the place cards in their place and the white cake was covered in butterflies! A few funny toasts {love funny ones!} and a great reggae band from brooklyn {casplash} got the party jumping! i was so excited for this wedding and am so happy for the sweetest couple ever! congrats guys!

p.s. jennifer connelly was not in the wedding party.. but what a look a like!
