kirsty + tyler 4.9.11

what an amazing start to my 2011 season! kirsty & tyler had the most awesome wedding this past saturday.. it started with kirsty obviously not wearing white {love it!} she paired her bold choice with a tailored black jacket! the day started in the late afternoon at the cabinet an artist's space in brooklyn. the ceremony was surrounded by 40 or so very close friends and family, loads of white bunting {love bunting!}, and a diy birch altar.. beautiful! the space also included cardboard animal trophies {the mini rhinos were my fave!}, buckets of candy, a stocked bar complete with boylan's orange soda and paper garland! each guest received a cotton bag complete with handmade paper confetti to toss, a recent issue of the cabinet's magazine and a super cute book with guests pics and fun facts about them {made by the couple's friend!} after the intimate and quick ceremony we headed thru an industrial section of brooklyn stopping along the way for pics. the dinner was held at the hippest spot in town, frankie's spuntino {there was a 2 and half hour wait and people were waiting!} the dinner was in a space in the back courtyard called the stables, a beautiful room with long farm tables and rustic decor. vintage photos served as place cards, burlap ran along the tables and family style pasta and meatballs were served.. absolutely amazing! the party continued after back at the cabinet! such a special day and i'm so happy to have been honored to capture it! congrats k + t.. good luck on your journey!
