marcie + jeff 10.2.10

the very sweet marcie and jeff had a big greek wedding on saturday! in between the rain from last week and the rain this week, we had the most amazing fall day! the ceremony was held at st. barbara's greek orthodox church in toms river {a beautifully ornate church} and the reception was at mcloone's supper club in asbury {love asbury!} the girls wore bright purple and the guys black tuxes. we got some fun shots in front of the wonder bar and a few surrounding spots. McLoone's was awesome.. it's the old Howard Johnsons and it's been tranformed upstairs into a sophisticated lounge like space for dinners and weddings! lots of grey and black with banquet seating and a stage area for the bridal party! the colors for the wedding were green, grey and purple.. a very modern take on a fall wedding! love the detailing in the text for the sign-in poster and the place settings and menus - looked like a vintage style concert poster! {a growing theme i'm seeing at recent weddings!} some sweet toasts, lots of dancing and the club had something very cool.. a camera on the dance floor with screens for guests to enjoy at their seats! the greek theme made a big appearance as the night went on with lots of dances and one where they even threw money at marcie! woo hoo!
