jen + ed {minus bruce} 10.23.10

our good friends jen and ed were married at epiphany church in brick on saturday with a reception at the beautiful carriage house in galloway! you may recognize these 2 after their recent brush with fame! if you don't know the story, we were shooting their engagament session at a nearby beach and bruce springsteen hopped in for a few shots and even serenaded them with ed's guitar! the romantic story was picked up by every major network, world news tonight, the daily news, ny post and even rolling stone magazine! back to the wedding, what a beautiful day.. picture perfect fall day... the girls wore sage green flowey dresses and guys classic black tuxes. jen wore an amazing figure hugging dress and birdcage style veil.. what a beautiful group! {and a big group 20+} the group hopped on a trolley and we all met for pics in historic smithville where we found some very cute spots like a carousel, oversized swan, shooting range and train! the party continued at the carriage house where my favorite shooter Amy covered the remainder of the event.. checkout her blog for the reception post! the details had a fall theme with pine cone seating arrangements, a handmade quilt made by ed's sister was there for everyone to sign with fabric markers {such a sweet and original idea!}, candy apples made at a local candy shop and pine trees wrapped in burlap were favors. jen's uncle's band contraband played some classic songs on stage and some great toasts including one by brother pat who joked about the newlyweds new found claim to fame! jen and ed are amazing friends, an awesome couple and truly meant to be! congrats and love to you both! xoxo.. have a blast in barbados! {p.s. bruce did not make an appearance at the wedding!}
