qianqian + sam 8.21.10

the very sweet qianqian and sam were married at the fantastically unique bronx zoo on saturday afternoon! the festivites began at the millenium hilton hotel with a traditional tea ceremony for a small group. the ceremony took place outside the lion pavilion amongst a small group of family and friends {and zoo visitors!}. sam's brother officiated {having a friend or family member marry the couple is becoming very popular!} we got some fun shots around the zoo, but unfortunately most of the animals were asleep and put away.. : ( but we did get a shot with a lone sleeping sea lion! we then continued onto the famous delmonico's {known for their steaks and being the first fine dining restaurant in the country}. qianqian then changed into her 3rd dress- yes 3 dresses and everyone celebrated with steak and lobster. lots of great toasts including one in chinese and a string quartet serenaded the night away! a beautiful wedding full of tradtion and also lots of unusual twists.. so much fun to capture! congrats qq+s!
