izabella + alex 7.3.10

the stunning and international iza {from poland} and alex {from london} were married at the amazing blue hill @ stone barns in westchester this weekend! stone barns is this super cool working farm that has an award winning restaurant and and is a great place to spend a day {have to go back with chris soon!} the grounds are unbelievable.. sheep grazing, sheep dogs {sleeping with the sheep!}, chickens, cows, some amazing greenhouses and they were even growing garlic in this old barn {literally hundreds of plants hanging from the ceiling}. everything is grown on the farm.. cool huh?! we had so much fun taking pics in the pastures, in front of the stone buildings and we even found some hay to throw around! the ceremony took place outside on the lawn overlooking this amazing farm. this couple was so fun and Iza actually danced up the aisle! flowers were everywhere, lots of sunflowers and wild flowers. wooden honey dippers and jars of honey were given as favors, table numbers were hand drawn farm animals + insects {done by their friend}, nests and eggs in terrariums added to the rustic farm feel! a jazzy band played lots of familiar songs for the couple, some very funny and heartfelt toasts {including one by alex that did not leave a dry eye in the house} and a stand out of the wedding {besides the beautiful iza} the food.. the presentation, service and taste of this food was to die for! {there is a reason why this place was on top chef!} such an amazingly awesome wedding and such an open and lovely couple! congrats guys!!
