lauren + matt 5.30.10

the adorable lauren and matt were married at the beautiful abbie holmes estate in clermont, nj on saturday and what a wedding it was! 3 words: vintage, nature inspired and modern martha {ok well that's more like 5} it was nothing short of pure gorgeousness! lauren wore a vintage lace inspired dress, vintage wedding bands and handmade jewelry by her! {her etsy shop is drool worthy} check it out: l. rose designs matt wore a grey suit with vest and yellow tie. the couple was married outside in a tent with robin's egg blue and butter yellow colored paper pom poms {made by mom}, pink rose petals were passed in paper cones, pink and yellow flowers hung in blue bell jars along the aisle and programs with the couple's branding {a blue bird and floral pattern} were handed out! the estate they were married at was surrounded by an adorable village of quaint shops, where we were able to get some fun shots, including a red barn! reception details included: mustaches on sticks {possibly best favor of all time!} we had so much fun with these and so did the guests, succulents in glass jars served as seating cards, vintage plates and silverware and the cake stood on a wooden tree stump.. too cool! so many of the details of this wedding were created by lauren and family + friends and it was truly a DIY experience from start to finish. such a perfect day and so much to capture. i'm so happy i was able to shoot this big day and am so happy for lauren + matt.. congrats you two!

In your art you have captured everything Lauren and Matt. Their sentimentality, their humor, their love for one another. All our hard work, every detail has now been frozen in time. We cannot believe you got a shot of Lauren's great-grandmother's cake plate with the cut out butterflies we made as a rememberence of my mother, her grandmother. You told our story, so eloquently. Thank you.
