erin + derek 6.5.10

the so sweet erin + derek were married at the very unique location the george school in newtown, pa {a quaker school for kids!} erin wore a vintage inspired lace dress, perfect for their outdoor ceremony and reception at the historic washington crossing inn. the girls wore different dresses in shades of grey and they carried yellow and white bouquets {love grey and yellow together!} the guys wore grey suits! we decided to take all the portraits before the ceremony and the george school had so many special spots including the perfect shade of matching yellow barn, a more aged barn and some very funky wooden ceremony chairs! the ceremony had a table with refreshing lemonade, complete with mason jars for drinking and books with loving titles and they even had a tree with their initials drawn on in chalk! musicians greeted guests and played throughout the ceremony and the couple recited their own vows to one another and the best part.. steve! their 5 year old pug made his debut and was such a good boy! the reception featured a very cute cake with wooden peg style bride and groom, favors included cookies from the couple's home baltimore and something i have never seen before a tree where guests were asked to "leaf" their thumb print.. super cool! some very special toasts and lots of dancing, this was a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple and i am so excited for e + d! congrats you 2!
