elizabeth + karim 4.9.10

the very sweet elizabeth + karim were married on a friday afternoon @ our lady of lebanon church in brooklyn. this was truly a multicultural event with karim's family coming in from lebanon and elizabeth's from georgia! after the ceremony we hopped in the car and headed to some amazing places like the brooklyn bridge for pics {a very cold and windy bridge!} this vintage inspired wedding was held at the river cafe under the brooklyn bridge! {literally at the foot of the bridge.. so cool!} filled and i mean filled with fresh flowers and fabulous views of the city this venue was so cool. tables were marked with vintage postcards, hand embroidered handkerchiefs filled with jordan almonds and hand crocheted votive cozies for the guests to take home were such a personal touch and so perfect for this wedding! {all made by mom and elizabeth's cousin!} the vintage brooklyn vibe continued with the swing and jazz band lapis luna.. who are fantastic! it's always a pleasure to shoot such a unique wedding and one that fits my style of photography so perfectly... congrats e+k and thank you for including me on your amazing big day!

Kella, AWESOME work!!! We shot a wedding in Brooklyn last year and tried to get a shot of the bridge (where all the construction is with the bridge to the left, in the distance) but we were kicked out!
