..committed to making a green initiative for my business this year, i've decided to use recycled packaging for all my wonderful brides and grooms! this will include recycled shredded paper {shredded by me, this will consist of all my leftover junk mail, catalogs etc... you will all know what i pay for sewer and water each month and see that i get way to many l.l.bean catalogs, i'm not an l.l.bean kinda girl}, dissolvable bubble wrap {yes.. you will all be receiving your packages and running straight to the faucet to see if it really is water soluble!} and finally anything else i find around the house, maybe a stick of gum, an old sweater that doesn't fit... hey it's recycling right?! : )

new goods! 4.19.09

ok, so these could quite possibly be the coolest way to display photos in the world! start with a 1/2 inch of fsc certified {good for the environment} piece of maple, slap on a ph neutral {good for the picture} adhesive add your favorite photo {taken by yours truly} coat with a uv laminate {protects against, you guessed it... the sun and water} and you have these amazing works of art to hang on your wall for all eternity! these will be included with all my 2010 packages and pricing info will go up on the site soon!

christie + steve had a super unique wedding in philly a few months ago... a handmade green dress, furry boots, wedding bands made from silver dollars, simple + sweet city hall ceremony and drinks to end the night, i would say their wedding was definitely rock n roll! thanks kat for the feature! check out all the pics @ rock n roll bride

here are a few pics we took in san diego while shooting lindsay + tom's wedding! forgot i had them : ) my favorite part was feeding the squirrels.. there were hundreds of them at a scenic overlook and we just happened to have bread in the car from breakfast! we also got to see rainbows, chris got to pose in front of the O.C. lifeguard stand {he's obsessed with the show Ocean Force on tv and this is where they film it} + we saw a lizard!

some wedding inspiration 4.1.09

so i though it would be fun to put together some ideas for my wedding - if i had to do it over again- with the same hubby of course! it's funny because it looks very much like my actual wedding! i had cupcakes and a simple dress, the girls wore anthropologie skirts and i got married at prallsville mill!
