avery + david get engaged! 4.5.10

avery and dave could not have picked out a better spot for pics or a better day! we shot at batsto village in south jersey {there were some deliverance moments on the way down into the pine barrens!} but what an awesome place for photos! this super sweet couple and i strolled the grounds and found so many great nooks and cool buildings {along with lots bees!} a + d are getting married in st. lucia this fall {wish i was shooting that!} but, i'm looking forward to shooting their hangover session! thanks guys and lotsa luck at the wedding!

courtney + joe 11.1.08

courtney + joe were married on a beautiful saturday afternoon! their reception was held at sterling gardens in matawan. it was an orthodox ceremony and the church and service was beautiful! we were able to get some fun pics outside of the church in the last light of the day! the girls wore wine colored dresses each in a unique style and carried simple bouquets of calla lilies. the reception started off with a bang! courtney and her father danced to a great old swing song, which was so unique and fun! the tables' centerpieces were oversized wine bottles custom labeled with all the menu info etc.. very cute! c + j decided in lieu of favors to give to charity, but also offered a bit of luck with scratch offs for each guest! my favorite element of the reception was the guest book.. in place of a boring book they had their favorite green eggs and ham for everyone to sign.. one of my new fave ideas! guests danced all night, including the couple! a beautiful wedding and such an energetic and loving couple! congrats you 2 and thanks so much for sharing your big day with me!
