jen + geremy 11.6.11

the super talented duo of jen & geremy were married at the smack mellon art gallery in brooklyn! jen is this way cool audio visual artist that mixes sound and images creating something truly unique! geremy is also part of another duo described as a "classical guitar duo with a rock edge". these 2 are something special and it's so nice to work with creative people on one of the best days of their lives! ok enough bragging about these guys.. back to the wedding! we beat the setting sun and got some awesome shots at the carousel and in front of the bridge.. amazing light! the girls wore shades of lilac and lavender and jen wore the most amazing lace and chiffon dress that she got at nordstroms.. how cool! i would describe the feel of the wedding as industrial meets soft! the couple was married in front of paper cut of flowers, deer and birds backlit casting some amazing shadows by jen & geremy's feet. their family stood by their sides as they recited their own vows as well as some readings like an excerpt from the velveteen rabbit. a long wall and jen's art complimented eachother perfectly as vivid moving images danced across the reception! a long dining table for their intimate wedding was dressed with candles and wildflowers and a papercut chandelier hung at the center! the wedding also featured a well known musician daedelus best described as experimental electronic! such a unique event to shoot and am so happy to have gotten to work with these 2! congrats guys!
