kristen & randy's diy extravaganza last fall was featured in the knot nj magazine! kristen had an amazing idea of using baby food jars and jazzing em' up with fabric and handmade labels for seating arrangements.. the wedding was a feast for the eyes and the bride recently started her own party business little miss crafty pants.. check her out! she is a great gal with some super talent!

could a couple be any cuter side by side?! mary & mike were made for one another and married on a perfect saturday afternoon @ a church in the groom's hometown {and mine} farmingdale. we made a plan to shoot all their portraits before the ceremony at their reception space.. the amazing bayonet farms in holmdel, i've never been there before and hope to get back soon {the venue is picturesque} the cocktail hour was held in the big red barn decorated with paper lanterns in colors to match the day {dusty yellows and pinks} a birds nest design on their programs, menus and place cards continued the rustic theme. place cards sat on top of a vintage dresser covered in moss, black and white photos hung on a gold painted gate and a typewriter sat for guests to write words of wisdom to the young couple! vintage luggage held the guests cards and tables were centerpieced with vintage books, bottles and moss covered table numbers.. a very sweet mix of rustic elegance! the reception was right next door under a big white tent, a couple very heartfelt toasts and some incredible dancing {these 2 could move!} followed by pie.. apple, pecan and key lime! a true blast was had by all and i'm so happy to have shared this incredible day with this sweet couple! xo mary & mike and congrats!
