christina + mike get engaged! 5.19.09

i shot christina & mike's e-session last night and it was so much fun! we had great weather... blue skies and perfect light {minus the wind it was awesome}! they had never had their pics taken before, so they were a lil' shy at first but by the end of the session they were pros! we went to a few great spots in spring lake and even had some fun in a bank parking lot! i can't wait to shoot their wedding this fall.. : )

marisa + brian 5.16.09

marisa & brian were married on saturday at the royce brook golf club! once again with the threat of showers {it's "almost" rained every saturday!} it turned into the most perfect day! the theme was black and white + vintage hollywood glam and these 2 definitely pulled it off! to start... the girls wore feathers in their hair {love this!}, the tables were named after old hollywood movie stars with silver framed photos of greats like humphrey bogart and great garbo.. how cool is this! they had an amazing photo display of all their past relatives on their wedding day surrounded by candles, jewels and of course feathers! everything was personalized and fit with the theme... during the ceremony in place of sand they each poured together vases of fabulous beads and shimmery jewels.. how glam is that! and perhaps my favorite thing, their favor was the classic black and white cookie.. yay! awesome details, a perfectly choreographed first dance, the most beautiful light for the outdoor ceremony and a fantastic couple to boot = one heck of a wedding! congrats m + b... and have a great time in cabo : )
