the so sweet andrea & anthony were married on a wet saturday afternoon {yes.. another rainy saturday!} the wedding was held at the barclay on the beach in belmar. the girls wore rich burgundy dresses and carried calla lilies.. perfect for fall. luckily the couple had the perfect rain plan.. monmouth university! andrea is an alumni of the school and so we had woodrow wilson hall {where they filmed annie} all to ourslves for pics, and it was amazing! i could have spent all day there, but our hour was spent well and we found lots of nooks {even the one time president's bathroom} the couple was even able to get a classic car to drive them to to their reception.. so cool! the reception featured lots of candles, fall leaves, wine corks served as holders for seating cards and caramel apples for favors! lots of dancing, toasts by the couple's siblings and a very cute motorcycle couple cake topper made for such a sweet reception! i have had the privilege to work with this group of friends for 3 different weddings and hope to see them all again soon! such a down to earth and genuinely nice couple {and bridal party} that made my job so easy! congrats guys and have a blast in aruba!
so... let's start off with christina's prediction... bad weather! well not only was there bad weather on christina & mike's wedding day there was a nor easter! it had been raining for days before the wedding and so i had hoped by saturday we would be all rained out, this was not the case.. the temperature was in the 40's the wind gusts were enough to flip your umbrella inside out and it was wet! not a bride's dream day... but we persevered and tried asbury park for some pics in what we thought was a pretty rain/wind proof spot.. this was not the case.. hence the shivering and hair blown pics! we did get some fun pics with umbrellas and in front of some amazing murals.. these pics truly told the story of their day! this group were troopers and i'm so glad they hung in there for the pics! looking past the weather the couple was married at st. hedwigs church in trenton and had their reception at the beach at the waterview pavilion in belmar! the colors were a very classic black and white. the reception was filled with calla lilies and candles and in lieu of favors the couple donated to the cheetah foundation.. very sweet! they even printed out little cards {looked like my favorite moo cards} with various photos of cheetahs and a little treat of hershey kisses attached! a photobooth and dessert buffet with a chocolate fountain were definitely a hit with guests! a very memorable wedding and couple! i think these 2 will have some stories for their grandchildren! congrats guys and have fun in dry, hot and not windy bora bora!
